Battery Guard 3000

NO MORE FLAT BATTERIES WITH BATTERY GUARD 3000!

Battery Guard 3000+ operates by constantly monitoring the available battery power when the engine or charging source is not running.

If the battery voltage drops below a pre-determined programmed level of both time & voltage, the system isolates all the electrical loads that are wired through the Intellitec contactor, to guarantee starting power.

When the battery is isolated due to low voltage, this is recorded in the Battery Guard ECU, this information is useful to fleet operators.

Press the reset switch and power for starting is restored. Automatic reconnection of power is also possible in specific applications via software.

Built into the electronics is a programmable audible alarm, this can be linked to both voltage and time.

There is also 2 programmable 10A outputs that can be used to switch external alarms or indeed what ever the electrical engineer or fleet engineer may specify.

This allows the OEM / fleet operator to provide different levels and frequency of alarms to suit each specific application.

Battery Guard 3000+ is also an intelligent split charge system, simply by adding a holding relay to the system, the rest is a simple matter of programming the system to operate to the customer spec.

As the system is fully programmable, we can ensure that the system can be integrated into the vehicles electrical system and not cause any conflict or warranty issues on ECU’s.

Built into the software is some limited logging capabilities, we record every low voltage event, this information can be useful for fleet engineers.

The GUI software is windows based and is supplied by Intellitec after the installation engineer has been on a certified training course.

Communication from PC to the Battery Guard ECU is via RS232. The software has been designed to be very user friendly, the amount of parameters that can be programmed is almost endless.
